Take a Walk on the Rise Side
15 October, 2007
What better way to spend a glorious Sunday morning in Spring than to take a stroll along one of Brookwater's beautiful and exclusive nature walks.
Brookwater Rise Park
Starting from the new Brookwater Rise Park (scheduled for completion in January 2007) Brookwater's nature trails will provide an opportunity to walk alongside a living gallery of ghost gums, Euacalypts and other Australian natives while absorbing the serene sounds of wind blowing through the trees, birds singing and frogs croaking.
Brookwater Rise Park is a place for families to unwind or to entertain. The park will be home to two playgrounds, a sand pit, BBQ area and a palate of beautiful picnic spots.
Scenic Walking Trail
The Scenic Walking trail will have you meandering through Brookwater Rise Park and a forest of mature Australian natives before enjoying spectacular expansive views over Opossum Creek Reserve all the way to Mt Cootha and Brisbane City.
Botanic Walking Trail
The Botanic Walking Trail is an opportunity for a relaxing wander or a high energy power walk or run from Brookwater Rise Park to the Lloyd Bird revegetation area or along Opossum Creek to Brookwater's District Park. The trail offers a diverse range of environments, recreational opportunities and a unique history for Brookwater families.
Brookwater's natural surrounds mean nature is never too far away and you need never compromise on healthy living.
