Brookwater Named Queensland's Best Residential Course
May 26, 2009
Brookwater Golf Club has confirmed its position as Queensland's leading residential golf course development after being ranked the best residential course in the state and the fourth best in Australia.
The second biennial Golf Australia rankings released recently were based on course design, course conditioning and the 'wow factor' of the development.
Scott Biggs executive general manager of communities at Springfield Land Corporation said the ranking reinforced Brookwater's position among the best residential golf course developments in the country.
"The team at Brookwater and our residents have always believed the development to be one of the best in Australia, so to be named Queensland's best residential course by Golf Australia is a great honour," Mr Biggs said.
"We are very proud of the reputation Brookwater has secured over the years not only as a golf course but as a wonderful place to live.
"More and more Australian's are discovering that residential golf course developments provide the ultimate lifestyle - and not only for golfers.
"These developments combine community living with spectacular golf course outlooks that are guaranteed to never be built out.
"With house and land packages at Brookwater starting from $550,000 there is no better time to secure your own piece of paradise on Queensland's number one residential golf course."
The Greg Norman-designed course was recently ranked sixth in Golf Australia magazine's biannual Public Access Course rankings.
Brookwater Golf Club is part of the $250 million Brookwater residential development by Springfield Land Corporation.
The club is managed by Troon Golf, the recognised leader in upscale golf course management and development around the world. The company currently manages 200 golf courses in 32 countries including the USA, Scotland, Japan, Mexico and the Bahamas.
