Gourmet Market Shoppers in Hunt for Prize Hamper
15 December, 2008
Christmas is all about giving, and this year Brookwater is giving its Gourmet Markets shoppers the chance to win a $1000 Christmas hamper* by simply filling in an entry form and lodging it at the markets this Sunday morning.
Thanks to Springfield Land Corporation and the generous stall holders at the Gourmet Markets, one lucky shopper will take home a fabulous Christmas hamper filled with all things festive as well as golf vouchers for Brookwater Golf Club and a voucher for Magnolia Restaurant.
Mark Holland, Brookwater Golf Club General Manager, said the hamper would go towards adding some festive cheer and easing the financial burden that Christmas can sometimes have on families.
"Families should keep an eye out for an entry form in their letterbox, or drop by the markets to pick one up,"
"The prize will be drawn at 10.30am at the markets this Sunday, and the lucky winner simply needs to be there to claim this fantastic prize," Mr Holland said.
The hamper will be filled with Christmas treats from stall holders that will keep the tummy full and, just as importantly, the table well dressed this festive season.
Raynuha Sinnathamby, Springfield Land Corporation Deputy Managing Director, said that everything from bonbons and napkins to Christmas puddings and lunch vouchers for Magnolia restaurant (at Brookwater Gold Club) were in the hamper.
"This great hamper will take a lot of pressure off the family budget this Christmas and we are urging our stall holders to be as generous as they can be in providing the goodies that will make one lucky family very happy,"
"Santa will be on hand at 10am to greet the kids and give them a chance to hand deliver a personal letter or to let him know what they want for Christmas this year" Ms Sinnathamby said.
This Sunday’s Brookwater Markets is the last market before Christmas. Shoppers are encouraged to get there early to make sure they don’t miss out on their fresh food and seafood this Christmas at very competitive market prices. To make gift giving easier, shoppers will also find a variety of stalls at Brookwater Markets selling a range of homewares and other items perfect for filling the Christmas stocking.
The Brookwater Gourmet Markets are held on the first and third Sunday of each month from 6am until 11am in the car park at Brookwater Golf Club. The first market for 2009 is scheduled for 4 January.
Brookwater Golf Club is part of the $250 million Brookwater residential development by Springfield Land Corporation.
The club is managed by Troon Golf, the recognised leader in upscale golf course management and development around the world. The company currently manages 190 golf courses in 32 countries including the USA, Scotland, Japan, Mexico and the Bahamas.
