Ken Berndt Awarded Qld Golf Teacher of the Year

Ken Berndt from A-Game International Golf Academy has been honoured at the 2007 Queensland Golf Industry awards, taking home the prestigious "2007 Queensland PGA Teaching Professional of the Year" award.
Brookwater Golf Club based Berndt was awarded the prestigious "Teaching Professional of the Year" award at Queensland's golfing industry night-of-nights on Tuesday March 11.
It was the second time Berndt has won the award, first winning the title in 2001.
Brookwater Golf Club General Manager, Mark Holland congratulated Ken on his award.
"This award acknowledges Ken's experience in the Queensland and Australian golf industry and his commitment to continually developing and improving teaching methods and coaching aids such as the 3D K-Vest," Mr Holland said.
"We are very lucky at Brookwater to have a coaching facility onsite with such a high calibre of teaching professionals.
"Brookwater is proud of its association with A-Game International and Ken's award is a great coup for both himself and the Golf Academy," he said.
A-Game International Golf Academy is a Registered Training Organisation and golf coaching facility based at Brookwater Golf Club.
The facility coaches students ranging from juniors to social golfers looking to improve their skills and professionals.
Some of A-Game's most well known students include New Zealand Open winner Terry Price and NSW Open winner Michael Wright.
Brookwater Golf Club is part of the $250 million Brookwater residential development by Springfield Land Corporation.
The club is managed by Troon Golf, the recognised leader in upscale golf course management and development around the world. The company currently manages 190 golf courses in 30 countries including the USA, Scotland, Japan, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
