BROOKWATER NAMED QUEENSLAND'S BEST AGAIN

February, 2009 BROOKWATER NAMED QUEENSLAND'S BEST AGAIN

Brookwater Golf Club has confirmed its position as Queensland's premier golf course after being ranked the best public access course in the state and the sixth best in Australia.

The Greg Norman-designed course was recently ranked sixth in Golf Australia magazine's biannual Public Access Course rankings.

The 2009-10 rankings represent the fourth straight time that Brookwater has been ranked as Queensland's best public access course by Golf Australia magazine.

Brookwater Golf Club general manager Mark Holland said the ranking reinforced the course's position among the best layouts in the country.

"To be named Queensland's best public access course for the fourth straight time is a great honour," Mr Holland said.

"We are very proud of the reputation Brookwater has secured over the years and rankings such as Golf Australia's are a great recognition of the work that our team puts in to ensure the course remains one of Australia's finest.

"When you combine the course with our award winning clubhouse, Brookwater really does offer a golfing experience unlike any other in Queensland."
