Record Sale at Brookwater

February, 2010

A $1.25 million non-golf frontage property has set a new sales record for Brookwater confirming demand is high for quality homes in the western corridor.

Brookwater General Manager Chris Safonoff said the record sale is particularly significant as it is a non-golf frontage property.

"Traditionally it is properties located on the golf course that reach these values," Mr Safonoff said.

"To see this kind of price for a non-golf frontage property is an important milestone for Brookwater and good news for all residents who can be assured their investment will continue to grow.

"This new record proves the demand for quality properties in Brookwater is still riding high, bucking recent economic trends," he said.

The record sale and continually appreciating land values reinforces Brookwater's position as one of South East Queensland's strongest performing suburbs.

"In eight years golf frontage land, on average, has appreciated in value by 278 per cent and non-golf frontage land has more than tripled at 306 per cent," Mr Safonoff said.

"The previous non-golf frontage home sales record for Brookwater topped $990,000 less than 12 months ago. At this rate we predict the $1.25 million record will not last long," he said.

The record-setting architecturally-designed home sits on 532 square metres, is split over two levels and has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living areas and a large outdoor entertaining space.

Built by Ramzy Quality Homes, the home forms part of Brookwater's unique designer display parade where six architecturally designed homes line one street as a show case of Brookwater's best.

Brookwater is a residential development centred on the Greg Norman-designed Golf Club and is part of Springfield Land Corporation's Greater Springfield.
