The move to Brookwater became more than the expected ‘tee change’ for the Lynn family in 2004 – it became a complete lifestyle change.

After building their first Brookwater home in the premier community’s The Vista precinct more than seven years ago, the Lynns went on to purchase an additional property in The Grange before building their dream family home overlooking the 13th Fairway in The Panorama precinct, which they moved into earlier this year.

Aung and Ana Lynn, who live with daughters Rachel, 11, and Katie, 8, said they designed their home to suit their family’s changing lifestyle, with their new architecturally-designed home including a lot more living space.

“Our home has been designed to suit our family’s changing lifestyle, with the girls really loving all of the additional living space,” Mr Lynn said.

“We have also built a fantastic al fresco area to suit our love of outdoor entertaining, which has stunning views of the signature fairway,” he said.

Mr Lynn said the vibrant nature and landscape at Broadwater provides him with a sense of tranquillity away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ of Brisbane city where he manages a luxury fashion boutique.

“Driving into Brookwater is like driving into a sanctuary,” Mr Lynn said.

“We love the peace and quiet of the area. The beautiful homes and the strong community spirit that has always existed in Brookwater really make it a special place.

“We absolutely love living here,” he said.

Mr Lynn said he and his wife loved living so close to the award-winning Brookwater Golf & Country Club, where they often arrange to meet up with friends.

“We love the regular community and social events here in Brookwater – especially Friday nights at the Golf Club and the wonderful Drift Restaurant,” Mr Lynn said.

“The best part about this is being able to walk home after!”

The Lynns also love the convenience of Brookwater being serviced by the Ipswich and Boys Grammar School bus line, enabling the girls to independently travel to-and-from school.

Brookwater residents have access to premier community facilities, including the Greg Norman-designed golf course, tennis courts, and the award-winning clubhouse. 2012 will see the opening of the $30m Brookwater Retail Village development, including the Mater Health Centre, with 2013 seeing the completion of the $475 million Richlands-to-Springfield rail upgrade.
