Brookwater experienced record-breakings sales last month, with a surge of enquiries leading the premier golf community to achieve its highest January sales since 2007. Brookwater Residential General Manager Terry Honan said the current surge in demand was largely driven by prospective buyers looking for larger homesites.
“While January is traditionally a busy month, we haven’t experienced sales figures this high for over 5 years,” Mr Honan said.
“Ever since launching our Quarter Acre Living campaign in December we’ve had a dramatic increase in enquiries from people looking to purchase larger homesites and those who generally want more room to move,” he said.
Mr Honan said there were just five quarter-acre blocks currently available in Brookwater.
“Quarter-acre homesites are rarely available in the surrounding areas, so we encourage people who are interested to contact us so they don’t miss out – these lots ,” Mr Honan said.
The Brookwater quarter-acre homesites offer buyers rare bush-frontage or elevated ridge-top positioning and access to all of the surrounding facilities in Greater Springfield including private and public schools, The University of Southern Queensland, and Springfield Central Train Station only minutes away.
Mr Honan said Brookwater residents are set to benefit from significant growth in both the Brookwater community and the Greater Springfield area over the next 18 months.
“There are a number of exciting new developments set for completion in 2013, including the Brookwater Village Shopping Centre, anchored by Woolworths and Mater Health Services,” Mr Honan said.
The $1.2 billion Springfield Rail Project is also set for completion in 2013, which will see 9.5 kilometres of dual rail line built to new stations at Springfield (near Woodcrest College) and Springfield Central (near Orion Town Centre).
“With access to these, and other premier community facilities such as the Greg Norman-designed golf course, it is no wonder more people are choosing to live in Brookwater.”
