Community prepares for an evening of elegance at annual Brookwater Ball

Brookwater’s premier black tie event is on again, with Drift Brookwater set to be magically transformed on Saturday 8 September to host Brookwater’s ‘night of nights’ – the Brookwater Community Masquerade Ball.

More than 200 Brookwater residents and their guests will take part in the community fundraising event, which will raise funds for Variety Queensland.

Now in its 7th year, the annual Brookwater Ball is a community fundraising event, proudly presented by Springfield Land Corporation.

Brookwater Community Liaison Officer Kathleen Hansen said the Brookwater Community Masquerade Ball was a chance for residents to indulge in a night of elegance and ‘masked mystery’.

“As the only black tie event on the community calendar, the Brookwater Masquerade Ball will be a lavish evening of masked mystery,” Ms Hansen said.

“It’s also an opportunity for the whole community to come together, enjoy an evening of elegance, three-courses of fine dining and, of course, raise money for Variety Queensland ,” she said.

Invitation to this prestigious event is exclusive to Brookwater residents, members and friends. Tickets are $75 per person or $750 for a table of ten, with $5 from every ticket sold donated to Variety Queensland.

Variety Queensland works directly with individual families and organisations in its mission to empower Queensland children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.
Variety Business Development Manager Amy Mackay said she was delighted Variety Queensland had been chosen as the beneficiary charity for this year’s event.

“Everyone here at Variety Queensland is so pleased to have been chosen by Springfield Land Corporation as the beneficiary charity for the Brookwater Ball,” Ms Mackay said.

“Just by organising a group of friends for a night out at the ball, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of Queensland children with special needs,” she said.

The Brookwater Community Masquerade Ball is on Saturday 8 September at 6:30pm for a 7pm start, and will be held at Drift Brookwater. Tickets are $75 per person or $750 for a table of ten.
