Hundreds of vampires, witches and ghosts took to the streets of Brookwater on Wednesday 31 October, with a record number of trick-or-treaters turning out to take part in the annual Brookwater residents’ Halloween Trick-or-Treat night.
Following on from the same successful event in previous years, more than 200 Brookwater residents dressed up in their scariest costumes for a night of trick-or-treating around the community.
Brookwater Residential General Manager Terry Honan said the community Halloween event had become a family favourite on Brookwater’s social calendar.
“Our Halloween trick-or-treat night has become increasingly popular with Brookwater families and has become a favourite community tradition amongst our younger residents,” Mr Honan said.
“It’s a great evening for the whole family, with some residents even decorating their homes and golf buggies for the occasion!
“We had more than 200 residents turn out in their finest Halloween costumes this year, which is by far our biggest event yet,” Mr Honan said.
Households who took part in the Brookwater Halloween Trick-or-Treat event were given an orange glow-stick to display outside their home, indicating their participation on the night.
The Brookwater Halloween Trick-or-Treat night is just one of the exciting events to occur throughout the year, held exclusively for Brookwater residents.
